EDC 2012 Thanks YOU!

Posted: June 21st, 2012

As the sun rose over the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Monday morning and EDC 2012 came to a close, we felt such gratitude and appreciation to our fans for helping turn this festival into a reality. Without your continued support it would not be possible.
Thank you to everyone who was a part of this amazing event and a big thank you to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the City of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Clark County, as well as their respective agencies, for embracing and supporting us.
As always with an event of this magnitude, there is room for us to grow and learn.  We read all your emails and listen to all your comments.  We value your input, and we are absolutely committed to making EDC even better every year.
We share in your traffic and transportation concerns, and we have already started working diligently on a plan with the city that helps alleviate traffic next year while providing additional transportation options so you can spend more time enjoying the show and less time in transit. We are committed to the best fan experience possible, and we understand this aspect of the show can be drastically improved.
A special thank you to Markus Shulz and Steve Aoki for staying at the Speedway on Saturday and keeping the party going all the way until dawn.

We made Sunday even more special by firing double the fireworks and by using all of the flame and other special effects that couldn't be used on Saturday.  Avicii’s unscheduled performance and Armin van Buuren’s bonus performance were both added too. We’re thankful to Avicii, Armin van Buuren and David Guetta for making adjustments to their sets to make this possible.  Perhaps most importantly, the energy and overall vibe brought by the fans on Sunday night was unbelievable.
Please know that you have our absolute and unwavering commitment to improve your experience in every way possible. Our goal is, always has been and always will be, to deliver you the greatest experience of your life!
Thank you for your support, and as always, for helping us bring the festival to life. We hope to see you at Nocturnal Wonderland 2012 and next year at EDC 2013!
