Utilizing two decades of musical knowledge, Alex Jongbloed, now known as YØUNGBLØØD, brings a new twist to the Los Angeles bass music scene. Fusing elements from the classic parts of trap EDM with new techniques and sound design, YØUNGBLØØD has created a niche in the scene with a sound he classifies as “boujee LA trap”. Drawing heavy influence from Baauer, RL Grime, & ATLiens, YØUNGBLØØD’s sound stands out amongst the riddim and dubstep heavy scene that LA has embraced. Having shared the stage with acts such as ATLiens, Eliminate, and Tynan, YØUNGBLØØD brings an eclectic energy to his sets that makes crowds move and dance floors bounce.
