5 Reasons to Camp at Beyond Wonderland 2015
Beyond Wonderland is special for many reasons. The festival offers epic music, incredible art, whimsical performers, unlimited good vibes, and the opportunity for all of you to pitch your tents and make the festival your home for the weekend.
That’s right, Beyond Wonderland is a camping festival. The San Manuel Amphitheater & Grounds, nestled in the scenic expanses of the hills of Glen Helen Regional Park, offers bountiful camping spaces for Headliners. Two- and three-day camping passes are available, and camping for Beyond is open from Thursday, March 19, through Sunday, March 22.
Read on for five reasons to hunker down at Beyond, and then check the camping guidelines and secure your spots.
Full Immersion
The saddest part of going to most festivals is the fact that you have to leave said festival at the end of each day. Not so if you’re camping. Everyone staying on-site essentially gets to live at Planet Beyond Wonderland for the weekend. That means more time at the festival and more great memories.
Easy Access
Staying in the park also ensures that you won’t have to think about commuting to and from the festival, finding your car at the end of the night, and booking a hotel. This means you can focus all of your energy on having a fabulous time! Even better is that you’ll be just steps away from the gate when the festival opens each day. Everyone with a camping wristband is allowed to come in and out of the festival at their leisure, which means you can return to your site whenever you like to rest, change outfits, eat, and grab more kandi.
New Friends
Getting to know your neighbors is one of the best parts about camping at a festival. Campsites provide a great forum to hang out with friends, meet and greet like-minded revelers, and forge relationships that will last long after the festival ends—or at least through the weekend.
Scenic Beauty
Glen Helen Regional Park is straight-up pretty. Nestled at the base of the Cajon Pass, the park offers scenic views of the San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mountains. It’s an epic spot to watch the sun set, or rise, or both.
Arts, Crafts and a Silent Disco
Beyond the fun you’ll be having at uh, Beyond, the camping area offers a wealth of activities including yoga, a silent disco, fishing (yes, really!), and arts and crafts including a vision board workshop, T-shirt tie-dying, kandi bracelet-making, and more.
