Jamie xx ft. Romy “Loud Places” (John Talabot’s Higher Dub)

It’s nearly 2016, so you should’ve heard Jamie xx’s critically acclaimed In Colours by now. At the very least, you must’ve heard “I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times)” because that was the jam this summer. John Talabot cooked up two dreamy versions of “Loud Places” that’ll be available on a white label 12” via Young Turks. On this 10-minute “Higher Dub”, Talabot takes his time in creating a technicolor landscape of charming percussion and uplifting chords.
