True Vine is the electronic music and visual art project of Miami-based artist Santi Vidal.
Coming up as an integral piece of the III Points team since 2015, True Vine has established his sound surrounded by some of the most forward-thinking ears in Miami. He has played alongside artists such as James Murphy, Lena Willikens, Vladimir Ivkovic, Jacques Greene, Chaos In The CBD, Priori, and more.
Along with Sister System, True Vine has produced some of Miami’s most notable underground parties including Boiler Room Miami in November 2019, and its predecessor the Black Friday Rave dubbed by Miami New Times as “the greatest convergence of DIY Miami’s disparate parties in some time” – acting as a launchpad for Miami’s underground music scene in the late 2010s.
Currently, True Vine, Sister System, and Jonny From Space present Objects Don’t Dance, a monthly event series exploring the unusual and eccentric landscapes of electronic music – with notable bookings including Ben UFO, Objekt, Danny Daze, upsammy, Wata Igarashi, Aurora Halal, and many more.
True Vine’s musical landscape can be described as ethereal, spacey, often psychedelic and introspective with elements of leftfield house, techno, trance, ambient, IDM, avant-garde, and balearic.
True Vine’s side projects and B2B pairings consist of TVSS (with Sister System), Wise Guys (with Sinopoli + Jonny From Space), and True Vine & Pomegranate, a downtempo / ambient-pop project with Michelle Granado which has performed in supporting slots for artists like Sevdaliza and Overmono.
Santi also has a decade of experience working in the music industry as a core member of III Points, responsible for cultivating Miami’s music community and bringing cutting-edge international talent to the city. He currently does the programming at The Ground, a multi-genre live music venue located on the first floor of Club Space.
