Tampa-based electronic musician and dj, “blu” (Brent Baker) produces experimental, raw bass tracks that incorporate elements of trap, hip hop, dubstep and other styles. His music is often referred to as either experimental or free-form bass. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, “blu” picked up his skills back in 2018 after being taught by his brother and close friends which led to him quickly start get bookings for gigs. As time went by, “blu” honed in on his mixing skills and started to receive offers to play bigger shows as well as his first festival booking in 2020. Since releasing his first song in early 2021, he has had 3 label releases as well as 12 self-released records that have earned over 80,000 streams.
