Acumen’s Enticing “Envieuse” Hits the Tech House Mark

Acumen is one artist who’s constantly on the move. The busy Frenchman, aka Antoine Garcin, splits his time between showcasing his enviable talents on the European club circuit and making tracks in his studio for notable labels like Get Physical, Mobilee, and his own Time Has Changed.

On his latest three-track EP, Idéal Féminin (“Ideal Female”) for Pirupa’s NONSTOP label, he delivers some enticing underground tech house that’s tailor-made for the dancefloor. There’s the driving title track and the more atmospheric “Envieuse,” seven minutes of spacey, shuffling tech house that rides the deep groove toward dawn. Lock on below.
