Andrea Oliva’s “Jungle Party” Is a Wild Tech Jam
Behind the decks and in the studio, Andrea Oliva’s reputation is on the rise. In 2016, the Swiss hitman’s signature sound found its way onto the Beatport tech house charts with notable cuts like the buzzin’ “Vermona” on the Martinez Brothers’ Cuttin’ Headz label and the stellar “Scream” on Hot Since 82’s own Knee Deep in Sound.
Now he’s back with his latest four-track EP, Jungle Party, on UK-based Kaluki Musik. The original mix charts its own course with rolling percussion, reverberating bass and spliced vocals.
Then, UK sensation Darius Syrossian takes the reins on remix duty, stripping it down to its raw core while dropping in crunchy drums, flute licks and a snaking bass hook.
Check it out below—and be sure to catch Oliva over the weekend of April 13–16 at Annie Mac’s Lost and Found festival in Malta, alongside the Black Madonna, Jamie Jones, Dusky, Seth Troxler, Jackmaster and many more. Sounds epic!
Available February 6 via Kaluki Musik.
