Roy Rosenfeld’s Euphoric Roller “Ahava”
Since 2004, Marc Romboy’s Systematic label has been serving up quality dancefloor cuts from underground artists like Stephan Bodzin, Robert Babicz, Shall Ocin, and others. Over a decade after its launch, the German-based stable shows it’s still going strong with its latest offering from Israeli producer-on-the-rise Roy Rosenfeld.
On the EP, Tikkva, the Tel Aviv–based artist delivers three solid cuts of progressive house, including the euphoric roller “Ahava” and the moodier “Hemla.” Then, the title cut cools things down with some zoned-out synths and elastic-sounding drums.
Stream “Ahava” below—and be sure to catch Rosenfeld spinning this summer across Europe.
Available April 14 via Systematic.
