Mauro Picotto Delivers a Dreamy Slice of Melodic House With “Latin Movement”
Upcoming Event
We’ve been getting down to Mauro Picotto since “Bakerloo Symphony” in the late 1990s and “Komodo” in the early 2000s, and by the sounds of his latest LP, A Call in the Club, we won’t be stopping anytime soon. For his new album, the award-winning itinerant resident to some of the world’s most demanding dancefloors—known for juggernaut sets of sleek and adventurous trance—has assembled 18 cuts that include remixes by fellow Italians Riccardo Ferri and Luca Donzelli, as well as collaborations with Barny Scott. Midway through the mix, acting as an anchor, is “Latin Movement,” a dreamy slice of melodic and syncopated tech house perfect for the coming summer season. Picotto’s new album is out this week on Alchemy Records.
Available May 5 via Alchemy.
