John Summit’s Peak-Time Thumper “Touch Me” Has Grooves for Days
Ever-rising Chicago tech house talent John Summit has already put serious business out on the likes of Toolroom, Audiophile XXL, and Perfect Driver. And never one to slow down, he’s back to drop a quick and dirty EP on Treasure Fingers’ own Psycho Disco! label.
The lead track, “Touch Me,” is a big-energy, peak-time tech house thumper. Swinging through the deep low-end, this one fires away with a warehouse vibe and hypnotic dance drive. Letting a vocal sample lead the way, Summit soon brings in a thick and chunky bassline that rounds out some serious upbeat grooves—not to mention a couple of fiery synthlines that jump in the mix for good measure.
Letting the energy ebb and flow at an organic pace, while never taking his foot off the pedal, Summit brings “Touch Me” into a prime-time roll and thrust. This track would be massive over a club system and will definitely rinse out the decks and the bodies on the floor.
Available September 7 via Psycho Disco! Music.
