There’s a name that resonates in the hearts of EDM bass lovers and ravers alike – Habstrakt. Hailing from the vibrant French music scene, Habstrakt, born Adam Jouneau, has carved a legendary path with his genre-defying beats, commanding stage presence, and a relentless passion for the art of DJing and production. Born in 1989 in Annecy, a town in the Rhône-Alpes region of southeastern France, Habstrakt initially embarked on his music career as a guitar and keyboard player before shifting his focus to electronic music production.
Some of Habstrakt’s greatest hits and collaborations include “Chicken Soup” with Skrillex, “Show Me,” “Like Before” with Jauz, and his most recent hit, “Outer Space” with Roderick Porter. His music has been released on prominent labels such as Monstercat, Mad Decent, and OWSLA.
“Outer Space,” along with many other new tracks can be found on his latest album, Heritage, which was released under his own label, Distorted Reality. Following the release of “Heritage,” Habstrakt continued to spread his music and influence worldwide through a global spring tour titled the “Heritage Tour.” This was followed by a second tour in the U.S. called the “Chromatic Tour,” which is set to conclude by the end of December 2023.
Not only is Habstrakt an exceptional producer and DJ, but he is also an accomplished live performer known for his energetic, alluring, and distinctive DJ sets that often feature many of his own tracks. Having played major stages and events worldwide, such as Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Lollapalooza in Paris, and most recently, Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, Habstrakt is set for continued ascent in the many years to come.
