Connor Schatzel, better known as LUMBERJVCK, is a musical perfectionist having mastered the guitar, piano, and drums at a young age in Arcadia, CA. To hone his skills as a producer Connor attended Icon Collective music production school in Burbank, CA. His music career progressed, making a cameo appearance in Borgore’s UZA music video as well as winning the EDC Chicago Discovery Project. LUMBERJVCK started making a name for himself through his free, but extremely filthy hybrid trap and dubstep releases on EDM.com. These releases built his initial fan base that led to LUMBERJVCK’s most dedicated followers, the “JVCKSQUAD.” One of his most successful songs to date, “Click Clvck,” made its way around the world on Skrillex’s 2014 Mothership Tour, validating his credibility as a music producer.
The year of 2015 (and early 2016) built the momentum LUMBERJVCK is seeing now having released songs on SMOG, Buygore, Kannibalen, Rottun Recordings, DOOM, Always Never, along with a handful of free tunes. He started 2016 with his most notable release to date, “Name Bran,” a major collaboration with 12th Planet on SMOG Records. It rose quickly through the charts, peaking at #4 on Beatport’s Dubstep Top 100. Continuing that momentum, they are set to release a 12th Planet X LUMBERJVCK EP later in the year.
Having toured all over the United States, LUMBERJVCK made his way overseas becoming a successful international headliner. With a tour under his belt in Australia, he is set to expand his international fan base in multiple countries. LUMBERJVCK has played a handful of festivals, but will break his way into the major festival circuit with Insomniac’s Beyond Wonderland in March.
2016 is the year of the LUMBERJVCK.
