LA! 🌎 SLANDER’s A Better World has added a 2nd show at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Friday, August 25 with support from Dabin, William Black b2b Trivecta, IMANU, & Wavedash! 💫

ACCEPTED ITEMS:

Bags & Accessories
• Small bags, single-compartment backpacks, plush backpacks, purses (maximum 12″x12″)
• Fanny packs
• Sunglasses & hats
• Earplugs
• Flags/banners or handmade signs (no corporate/ company-branded)

Water Bottles & Hydration Packs
• Official Insomniac canteens-must be empty upon entry
• Hydration packs with no more than two main compartments and one smaller compartment-must be empty upon entry

Electronics
• Cell phones
• Portable chargers/external batteries
• Non-professional flash/still cameras, handheld video devices under 6″ (Sony Action Cam, GoPro, etc.), and GoPro extendable poles

Cosmetics & Toiletries
• Sealed lip balm & gloss
• Powder makeup
• Chapstick
• Sealed tampons
• Sealed wet wipes

Health and Safety (Medication)
• Physician-prescribed medication that is not expired (must consult with a safety officer upon entry and present a physician’s prescription)
• Breast Pump

Tobacco Products
Please note that the Los Angeles Convention Center is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is allowed at areas outside of the convention center as permitted by the City of Los Angeles.
• E-cigs/vapes (refillable liquid chambers OK, must be empty upon arrival)
• Lighters and sealed packs of cigarettes

Glow Accessories
• Glowsticks
• Glowing/illuminated costumes or jewelry
• Hula hoops (including LED hoops)
• LED poi

• Sealed packs of gum
• Inflatables (must be deflated upon entry)

• Bota bags (over-the-shoulder leather pouch that can carry liquid)
• Large purses, bags or backpacks (over 12″x12″)
• Pacifiers, dust masks or gas masks
• Large chains or spiked jewelry
• LED gloves or LED microlights used for light shows

Electronics
• Massagers
• Laser pointers
• Professional photo, video, or audio recording equipment (no detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms or commercial-use rigs)
• Drones, Remote Control Aircraft, Toys

Cosmetics & Toiletries
• Liquid makeup
• Unsealed tampons (upon entry)

Health and Safety
• Illegal substances
• Drugs or drug paraphernalia
• Over-the-counter medication (available inside venue at first aid station)
• Eye drops (sometimes available inside venue at the general store)
• Weapons of any kind (includes pocket knives, pepper spray, fireworks, etc.)
• Aerosol products / Aerosol Cans (i.e. sunscreen)
• E-cigs/Vapes
• E-liquid/E-juice – fluid used inside e-cigarettes/ vaporizers that usually comes in small, plastic or glass containers

Miscellaneous
• Outside food or beverages (including alcohol and candy)
• Markers, pens or spray paint
• Air horns, toy whistles, and bull horns
• Stickers, flyers
• Balls or Frisbees
• Tents, large umbrellas or chairs

* Any prohibited items that are confiscated will be discarded and not returned to attendees

TOTEM GUIDELINES
• Maximum height is 10 feet
• Totems must be made from a lightweight material (e.g., foam, PVC / no solid metal)
• Collapsible/telescoping camera extenders that follow the above guidelines are OK (lightweight/hollow aluminum/polycarbonate)
• PVC, light wood, aluminum poles must be no thicker than 1 inch in diameter
• Decorated pool noodles work great for easy entrance through security
• Inflatables attached to totems must be deflated upon entry
• Any item deemed dangerous will not be allowed
• Totems promoting illegal activity or hate speech will not be permitted. Please keep it PLUR (peace, love, unity, respect)

COSTUME GUIDELINES
• NO drugs or drug paraphernalia
• NO LAPD, LAFD, authentic-looking law enforcement, fire dept. or security costumes
• NO handcuffs
• NO glass or ceramic masks
• NO full-face makeup that makes you unrecognizable from your government issued photo ID
• NO weapons or weapon accessories (fake or authentic), including axes, knives, swords or guns
• NO violent props, including crops, whips, ropes, chains or tethers
• NO sharp metal spikes
