For many, dressing up is a huge reason why going to festivals can be so damn liberating. Halloween happens to be a time when virtually everyone is in the mood to play pretend, and Headliners really embraced the spirit of the holiday at Escape. Everyone’s costume game was especially on point. These are just a few who showed up to make a statement with their wear.

William: I got peppered sprayed on Halloween. It was the best one I’ve ever had. Me and my friends found out my neighbor had bear spray, and my neighbor dared us to get bear sprayed. So we did it and ran around dressed as clowns with our faces all red, looking like idiots, because our eyes were melting out of our head.
Kelsey: This will probably be my favorite Halloween memory. My favorite thing about Halloween is getting to dress up as whatever you want and be whatever you want.
