EDC Moments: Borgore
Israeli DJ/producer Borgore is a dominator of the bottem-end. He’s also no stranger to Electric Daisy Carnival. In fact, he’s been around the block many, many times. Since breaking out earlier in the decade, the Buygore label head has played EDC many times, gracing the decks everywhere from kineticFIELD to the Bassrush stage this year.
For his EDC Memory, Borgore takes it back to his Friday night throwdown at kinetic in 2013. He admits that he often just cruises the crowd after his set and enjoys the show like a fan. Here’s how he puts it himself:
Going up the streets and racetrack to mainstage gave me the butterflies like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Do you remember your first crush? Those are the type of butterflies I’m talking about. But honestly, I have so many memories from EDC Las Vegas specifically, and all of the other EDCs around the world I’ve played, that I could write a book about all of them and it’d be a best-seller.
Performing at the festival is amazing, but low-key, my favorite part of the festival is to kind of hide in my hoodie and just go hang in the crowd to check other sets. A lot of my friends play EDC Las Vegas with me—small and big stages.
