From electro to moombahton to trap, L.A. native ETC!ETC! has found success producing a wide array of genres. He’s currently wrapping up a new five-track EP for Mad Decent and counts fellow label mates Dillon Francis, Bro Safari, and the man himself, Diplo, as supporters. If you could have any magical powers, what would you want, and why?
Time travel—because I would love to see everything I missed in the future, past and present.

How do you spend your Sunday afternoons?
Drinking coffee and making music. Most of the time, my kids harass me all day; but I guess it comes with being a dad.

What was your favorite toy as a child, and when/why did you stop playing with it?
I really didn’t have toys, but I played a lot of video games like Sega Genesis and Nintendo 64. I would play all day and night. My parents would hate it.

Most adventurous thing you’ve eaten?
Snake in Mexico. It was tough. I thought it would taste like chorizo, but it was nothing like that.

What should everyone shut the fuck up about?
Pizza. It’s not that great.
