Here’s What 6 Headliners Look Like When They’re Not at Festivals
We all journey down different paths in our daily lives. Some of us work in libraries; others are customer care representatives, content moderators, or front desk associates, to name a few. When we venture to a festival, however, we remove our costumes and transform into truer versions of ourselves, meeting in a world that allows us to leave all our worries (and boring-ass clothes) behind.
Insomniac celebrates #TransformationTuesday by asking six unique Headliners to discuss their lives in and out of the festival.

What are your thoughts on the new changes coming to EDC Las Vegas 2018?
I think the addition of camping was an amazing idea. EDC has always been a very magical and sentimental experience for me. Out of every Insomniac event, nothing compares to the energy, love, unity, and magic you feel from an EDC weekend. My first camping experience was at Nocturnal Wonderland, when they first started the camping option. That weekend was full of memories and “the feels” that will last a lifetime. I can’t even begin to imagine how amazing it will be combining the two.

What are your thoughts on the new changes coming to EDC Las Vegas 2018?
I’m excited about the new changes coming to EDC Las Vegas! I’ve been to the event four times in my life. They have all been amazing experiences, but there is no denying that it can get pretty hot under the beautiful Electric Sky; not to mention, there is always a lot of traffic leaving the festival. I think moving the festival to May and adding camping will make the night owl experience more memorable and, more importantly, safer for everyone!

What are your thoughts on the new changes coming to EDC Las Vegas 2018?
I’m actually really excited for the new changes! The new date in May might not be great for some, due to scheduling conflicts, but the weather will be much better for those who do attend. I have many friends who refuse to attend because of the heat, due to health issues, but now that might be a thing of the past. The Vegas heat in June can easily take a toll on your health, but the weather in May will hopefully be a lot kinder to us.

What are your thoughts on the new changes coming to EDC Las Vegas 2018?
With everything going on in the world, there is no better place to share and spread love than Under the Electric Sky. I’m going to be part of a wedding this year, so EDC Las Vegas 2018 is going to be even more magical. Last year was my first EDC. The main reason I wanted to go again this year was because of all the changes! Camping is going to be different for sure, but the most exciting changes for me are going to be the new stages. Plus, this year, it’s going to take place right before my birthday. It’s going to be outstanding!

What are your thoughts on the new changes coming to EDC Las Vegas 2018?
I live in Vegas now. As a local, the most I can hope for is reduced traffic. As for the date change, I was used to the summer heat and even found it to be occasionally chilly at night in previous years. I am also a Category 4 Road/Track Cyclist with the United States Organization (USO) Veteran’s Cycling Team, so I am used to training in the middle of the day during cycling season. I’m waiting for them to give us a secure area to lock up bikes so I can beat the traffic there and out!

What are your thoughts on the new changes coming to EDC Las Vegas 2018?
To be honest, I am skeptical about the new changes. This will be the first year Insomniac is doing this sort of thing at this large of a scale. Because of this, I fear some things may not go as smoothly. If anybody can pull it off, however, it’s Insomniac. I’m sure it’s going to be a great experience, and I can’t wait!
