Here’s What 6 Headliners Look Like When They’re Not at Festivals

We all journey down different paths in our daily lives. Some of us are counselors; others are surgical technicians, automotive technicians, or administrative assistants, to name a few. When we venture to a festival, however, we remove our costumes and transform into truer versions of ourselves, meeting in a world that allows us to leave all our worries (and boring-ass clothes) behind.

Insomniac celebrates #TransformationTuesday by asking six unique Headliners to discuss their lives in and out of the festival.

Are you going to EDC Las Vegas? Why or why not?
This will be my first year attending EDC Las Vegas! I have been dreaming of going since I was a teenager. I have found the EDM community to be the only place where I feel free from the hardships of life—somewhere I feel truly accepted and simply happy. I couldn’t be more excited to finally make this dream a reality!

Are you going to EDC Las Vegas? Why or why not?
Yes! It will be my second time going, and I’m beyond excited to do it again. Last year, my girlfriend and I decided to attend EDC Las Vegas because they were no longer hosting the event in New York, and she really wanted to go. Thanks to EDC, I’ve met so many people and made so many friendships throughout the years. There’s nothing better than great music and raging with the people I love!

I am most definitely going to EDC, now that I live in Las Vegas. I have signed up to volunteer and work this year, because I want to get more involved and see more of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into making EDC magical. I love Insomniac! This festival is the one place that feels like home. I love dressing up, being creative, feeling flawless, and getting to dance. I can’t wait to see everyone Under the Electric Sky!

Are you going to EDC Las Vegas? Why or why not?
I wouldn’t miss EDC Las Vegas if my life depended on it. It’s the only place in the country where I can enjoy three days of my favorite hardstyle and bass music producers. Combine that with all the art, multi-million-dollar stages, and all the friends I have attending, and you have one of the best times ever.

Yes, and I will be camping! This will be my second year attending EDC Las Vegas, and I’m so excited to be surrounded by ravers, explore the campground, and wake up in paradise for three days straight. I am also interested to see what shenanigans and memories the first year of camping will bring!

This will be our first EDC. I had tickets two years ago but lost my job and had to sell. I can’t wait to see Armin van Buuren, Excision, Snails, Yellow Claw, Black Tiger Sex Machine, and Slander, to name a few. Camping in the ShiftPod2 is also going to be exciting. I can’t wait to be Under the Electric Sky.
