Here’s What 6 Headliners Look Like When They’re Not at Festivals

We all journey down different paths in our daily lives. Some of us dedicate our lives to teaching; others are US Marines, bankers or travel agency reps, to name a few. When we venture to a festival, however, we remove our costumes and transform into truer versions of ourselves, meeting in a world that allows us to leave all our worries (and boring-ass clothes) behind.

Insomniac celebrates #TransformationTuesday by asking six unique Headliners to discuss their lives in and out of the festival.

How long have you been raving? 10 years
Name three DJs you would love to see at Nocturnal Wonderland 2017. I’ve only seen Keys N Krates a few times, but I think they’re great and would love to see them again. I would also choose Excision, because he has all these crazy light shows. I remember when he took over House of Blues in San Diego and had a whole wall of LED lights installed for his performance. I also love Sub Focus. They always have me grooving on the dancefloor.

Name three DJs you would love to see at Nocturnal Wonderland 2017. I’m a trance-lover myself, but I would like to see Dr. Fresch, Bijou and K?D at Nocturnal Wonderland! Lately, I’ve wanted to branch out and explore different genres to see what I’m missing out on. I never realized how much I love those bassy beats!

Name three DJs you would love to see at Nocturnal Wonderland 2017. Definitely Snails, Excision and Zomboy! They go super hard and always get the place moving. Each time I’ve seen them, they have never failed to impress me. I’m always headbanging with those around me!

How long have you been raving? 4 months
Name three DJs you would love to see at Nocturnal Wonderland 2017. When I went [to the] Dirtybird BBQ [in Vegas] in May, I saw my new favorite DJ, Will Clarke! I fell in love with his style and dirty beats; his live sets always have the best energy! I’d also love to see Electric Mantis, one of the first groups I’ve ever heard of as far as EDM, and Snails, who can hype up the crowd like none other.

How long have you been raving? 4 years
Name three DJs you would love to see at Nocturnal Wonderland 2017. I’m really looking forward to catching GTA, Valentino Khan, and Excision. Every time I go to one of their sets, I’m always surprised by the way each one throws it down on the decks. I’ve also met Valentino Khan and GTA, so I’m excited!

Name three DJs you would love to see at Nocturnal Wonderland 2017. I saw k?d at EDC Las Vegas and was blown away! I would definitely want to see him again. My second pick would have to be GTA. I’ve seen them every year since 2014, and each time, their set is even better! Will Clarke is also on my bucket list. Every time I get the opportunity, something comes up and I miss him. I told myself that no matter what, I will see him at Nocturnal Wonderland. If you see me in the back of Sunken Garden grooving by myself, come say “hi”!
