Here’s a speaker you can fit more than your sweaty, wet head into. The Orb is like your own private chill-out room. I don’t think it’s actually a thing yet, but the folks behind the bubble living pod contraption dubbed “Cocoon 1” are looking to make the The Orb a reality. Each space will be fitted with tempur pillows and 18 speakers mounted inside. Apparently, they’re going to build only a handful of them and each will run $15K. If this is too cosmopolitan for your speaker freakers ways, there’s always the much more sinister “Sensory Overload Chamber”—for a staggering $25K—that you can crawl into and get lost in the music.
