As we get ready to knock on the door of 2016, we asked some of our favorite DJs to give us their top five tracks of the year. Dive into Kidnap Kid’s essential selections below.

If not by his GQ looks, Kidnap Kid will steal your heart via a dexterous studio hand that has positioned him at the top of the most-wanted list. We’ve spent the last year getting to know this blowing-up Londoner by inviting him to perform at a number of our fests, securing some face-time with him to fire off some Qs, analyzing his on-the-road life through our tour diary, and locking in a guest mix spot for Night Owl Radio. You’d think we’d have had enough of him by know, but the Kid keeps growing on us.

Before he caps off all the quality time we’ve shared with him this year by swinging by TWELVE 31 with a dizzyingly deep set, let’s find out which five heaters he’s been feeling the most from 2015.

Floating Points “Nespole”

The openThe opening track from Floating Points’ beautiful debut album. The whole thing is definitely worth listening to.

DJ Dozia “Pop Culture” (Joris Voorn Remix)

One of the favourite club tracks of late. Perfect mix of vocal, percussion and energy.

Tame Impala “Let It Happen”

Hands-down the best song of the year from any genre. The wandering structure alone blows my mind. An absolute masterpiece.

Clavis “Mirzoza’s Dream”

This has been another favourite for playing early on in my sets. Stripped-back beat with a beautiful piano arrangement sitting on top.

Dave DK “Halma”

It was hard to choose between a few different Dave DK tracks, so I thought I’d go with a classic. I love his dreamy and ethereal take on club music.
