What was your favorite toy as a child, and when did you stop playing with it?
LEGOs. Still have all of them from my childhood.

What is the best advice you’ve ever gotten? Did you take it?
Whatever you do, do it to the best of your ability. I try!

What part of your day do you look forward to most?
All different parts, for different reasons. My son waking me up, even though it’s 7am. Time to myself when he’s at school for music. Lounging in the evening with my fiancé.

What’s the best time you’ve ever had without spending money?
Boogie-boarding in Hawaii.

What is your most treasured possession?
My family.

What is your favorite word?
“Y’all.”

Do you owe an apology to anyone?
No.

When is the last time you were really scared?
Couple weeks ago, my dog ran into the street to meet people on other side. Luckily, no cars were going by.

What is the last thing you googled?
“Titanic Hotel in Liverpool.”

What’s the last sound you would want to hear before you die?
Ocean waves.

Do you have any recurring dreams or nightmares? If not, what’s the last dream you remember having?
Occasionally, I have duplicate dreams but can change the outcome when I realize it’s dream déjà vu. The other night, I dreamt my DJ bag got left in a random car and was about to play without it.

How do you measure success?
Quality of life.

If you could have one magical/super power, what would you want?
Time travel.

Have you ever had a brush with the paranormal or supernatural?
I have tried, unsuccessfully.

What do you remember about your first kiss?
With Dawn Shoemaker in Park Ridge, Illinois, when I was in fifth grade. I walked her home from ice-skating at South Park.

What four words best describe you?
Groovy. Traveling. Minstrel. Father.

What’s the last impulsive thing you did?
Hmm. Not sure.

Do you have a pet? Tell us a story about it/him/her.
My doggie Pumpkin is a large Yorkie. She loves eating bubbles.

What is your strongest (or best) personality trait?
Mellow and calm.

Do you believe in any conspiracy theories or urban legends?
Bigfoot. Does that count?
