‘Under the Electric Sky’ Released on DVD and Blu-ray
EDC Las Vegas occupies only three days on the calendar. That’s just 0.8% of the year.
The good news is, now you can relive the magic and the music of the festival whenever the mood strikes you, and without trekking to Las Vegas. Under the Electric Sky, the documentary about the 2013 incarnation of the festival, is now out on DVD and Blu-ray and iTunes streaming. Happy? We know you are! We’re happy, too!
Under the Electric Sky offers a behind-the-scenes look at the people who make EDC happen and the hundreds of thousands of Headliners who embark upon the journey to the largest dance music festival in North America. Watch Sadie, a misfit teen from Texas, have the time of her life onstage with Above & Beyond. See Jose—a wheelchair-bound music lover with dreams of becoming a DJ—get lifted about the crowd at kineticFIELD. Try not to cry while watching what might be the most romantic rave wedding ever caught on camera. Altogether, the film is a PLUR-packed 90 minutes that’ll make you forget how many days are left until EDC Las Vegas 2015—at least for a little while. The doc also includes music and interviews with DJs including Avicii, Dillon Francis, Tiësto and Armin van Buuren, as well as an original score by Kaskade.
