Ashe
Origin: None
California native Ashe has been turning heads with her balance of modern day pop writing and vintage vocals.
A graduate in composition & production from world-renowned Berklee College of Music, Ashe gained international exposure as a songwriter and jazz vocalist.
Spending a year in Nashville, TN, the songwriting capital of the US, the young artist became known as both writer and singer wherein a series of collaborations unfolded; working with Ben Phipps, Alex Schulz, Win & Woo, Louis the Child, Whethan, & her latest release with Shaun Frank.
Ashe X Whethan’s release, “Can’t Hide,” went #1 on HypeMachine in its second day of release and hit #1 on Spotify’s Global and US Viral Charts within a week of their release date.
Her most recent collaboration, “Let You Get Away” (Sept ’16), with Shaun Frank, featured future bass melodies and raw, poetic vocals. The song has amassed over 3 million streams in its first month.
Currently in San Diego, Ashe is preparing her debut EP, a merging of contemporary pop music and big-band swing music. Presently, she is determined to coin the name #bigpop.
