What advice would you offer someone thinking about entering the Discovery Project competition?
Always trust yourself, never put things off and work hard for what you love most.
Was there one particular moment in the recording or mixing process for your Discovery Project entry that made you feel like you were creating something pretty damn special?
When I recorded the mix for the contest, I thought to myself, “I’ll play like I am playing at EDC.”
What is your ultimate career dream?
One of them has already come true. Now, I think the next step will be to play on the same stage with my idols.
Are you impulsive with your work or do you have a sketch in mind before you start?
I think about music, rhythms and sounds most of the time. The inspiration always comes when I am walking or doing other common things.
What do your parents think of what you are doing?
At the beginning, they were a little bit worried. But they are so proud now, especially after hearing some of my tracks.
How would you describe your sound to a deaf person?
I can’t explain it exactly but, when the music is on, you can feel it when the bassline shakes your whole body.
