Dave Gluskin

Dave Gluskin is an electronic dance music DJ/Producer/Remixer from Central Florida. He’s developed an ear for music since being classically trained in viola and voice from a young age and studied college level music theory. After spending years as a DJ who messed around with making music, he has changed course and is now putting hours a day in the studio.
He was first introduced to electronic dance music in the early 90’s and instantly became immersed in the culture frequenting Firestone, Marz, Cloud 9, and many of the other great venues, and the excitement that a DJ and the music could bring to a crowd had him hooked. So, he decided to spend time developing his DJ skills whilst co-founding Katalyst Records, an online record store and promotions company. A true lover of music with a massive record collection that spans every genre from deep house to breakbeat to progressive house to drum and bass and all points in between, Dave really has no boundaries. His mixing skills have landed him bookings all over Florida from Winter Music Conference in South Beach to Panama City Beach as well New York, Atlanta, and most recently, Bougie Orlando events. His early gigs were booked under the moniker “Mation” but now goes by his real name for gigs and production work.
Finally he is spending vast amounts of time in the studio, putting his ideas to work and producing music. As a DJ, he currently plays a lot of funky, jackin’ house but as a producer he has no boundaries, working on breakbeat, electro, and proper house tunes.
