Francis Davila is a Guatemalan DJ and music producer; he currently resides in the City of Los Angeles, California. He has been one of the pioneers in the Latin American Electronic Music scene and one of the few Djs that have been listed in UK’s DJ Mag Top 100 DJs in the world (#77 in 2011 and #63 in 2012).
He has also been nominated for best Latin Dj in 2016 by EMPO (Electronic Meeting Point – The #1 electronic music platform in Mexico and Latin America) competing the title alongside Carnage (Gordo), Deorro and Ftampa. His music has had great popularity due to his releases on major record labels such as Universal and Sony, and two of his video clips have been on regular programming on MTV and VH1 taking his music around the world.
In recent years he has released music on labels such as Hot Creations, Rawthentic, Happy Techno, 303Lovers, Moon Harbour, Terms & Condition, Unlearn, 1980 Recordings Uk, Tech Avenue, WildCard, Slightly Sizzled, We Are Phonic, Uprise Music, One Dance Left, No Robot Music, Sagmen, Lemon Juice, Hungry Koala, building a name in the underground Electronic Music scene.
His presentations around the world have taken him to India, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Mexico (EDC México Salon Solin) and in United states playing in many emblematic places like Knockdown Center & Stage 48 NY, Surfcomber & ULTRA Miami (2008), Academy LA, Exchange LA, Escape Festival, Space Taco & LICKNDIP in California, Skybar, SLS and Bootsy Belows in Beverly Hills CA, Terrace Afterhours & Area 15 Las Vegas.
