Joon Kwak

Joon Kwak is a resident DJ/producer of the ‘212’ underground techno collective in Eindhoven. Through this collective, he organizes secret raves in the south of the Netherlands carrying on the free-party rave culture from the 90’s. In Asia he is a regular at club Faust, a renown techno club in Seoul, Korea. He will release his first digital EP through Faust’s label, Ameniia records, in 26th of June.
Since 2014, the young Korean started mixing techno and house music in Korea, and is now expanding his passion for electronic dance music in the Netherlands. Starting from underground parties to big festivals, in Korea, he has performed in various festivals such as UMF Korea, even won the Red Bull University DJ Competition and went on a national tour with Red Bull.
After his move to the Netherlands, he has played at Extrema Outdoor BE, Ultra Japan Resistance, Labrynth Club, won the Complex Maastricht DJ Competition and was selected as the finalist of the Extrema Outdoor BE DJ Contest and the Extrema Outdoor NL Producer Contest.
He recently had his first all-nighter at De Bank, Eindhoven and took part in the 2019 King-S Festival and STRP Festival and will play for EDC Korea this summer.
