Loretta Chantiri, also known as MIKITA, is a proudly trans Mexican DJ and a graduate of Soundspace Academy. With just one year of professional experience, she has been making her way into some of the most beloved and even sought-after clubs and events within the LGBT+ community in Mexico City.
She started performing at venues like Rico Club, where she currently plays regularly, and Hookah Lounge Condesa. However, she says her perception as an artist and her approach to DJing were profoundly impacted after being part of the lineup for the Pride Together 2023 event, as well as the Pervert Orgullo Festival 2023, where she shared the stage with renowned underground scene DJs such as Villaseñor, Ursula Prawn, Eliel Capa, and Mike Starr (Berlin).
