Staring Contest is the performance alias of the American Producer/DJ, Matt Hunt, originating from the Washington DC area. Early in his career, Staring Contest had debut performances at DJ Mag’s Top 100 #1 club in the world, Echostage (Washington DC), as well as Insomniac owned, Soundcheck (Washington DC). He has since played regularly in other Insomniac clubs such as Academy LA, TIME Nightclub, and Exchange LA as well as Avalon Hollywood while continuing to focus his efforts on producing tracks in the dance music space.
