He’s dropped beats with some of the biggest names in breaks, including Huda Hudia, DJ Icey, Deekline, Infinity, DJ-X, Ming & FS, Reid Speed, Jen Lasher, Storm, Johnny Dangerously, James Wolfe, Simply Jeff, and many more. In addition, he held a residency with Scratch-D (Dynamix II), H-Bomb, and B-Minus, which led to future opportunities.
He started his label, Modern Beat Digital, in 2008 and quickly gained respect among other recording artists and labels. From house music to breaks – from future bass to trap, Sweet Charlie fuses all genres. As part of the Kaleidoscope Music and DogEatDog teams he plans on reestablishing himself on top, while contributing to the evolution of breaks.
The turning point in Sweet Charlie’s musical path was when long time friend, mentor, and breakbeat legend Huda Hudia (HUDA) began working with him to hone his skills and sounds. This connection proves to provide the best breaks you’ve heard in a while.
