Thundercat is the alter ego of virtuosic bassist / singer Stephen Bruner, a mercurial talent and GRAMMY Award winner (2016 and 2021). His 2020 album “It Is What It Is” has won a GRAMMY for Best Progressive R&B Album. Highly respected and much in-demand with his peers, Thundercat has previously worked with the likes of Ariana Grande, Stevie Wonder, Kanye West, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg, Pharrell Williams, Herbie Hancock, Stanley Clarke, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Kendrick Lamar, N.E.R.D, Leon Ware, Ty Dolla $ign, Childish Gambino, Mac Miller, Suicidal Tendencies, Anderson .Paak, Janelle Monáe, Erykah Badu, Moses Sumney, Dave Chapelle, Wiz Khalifa, Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, Sa-ra Creative Partners and many more, in addition to his longtime writing partner Flying Lotus.
