Born in Beirut and raised in the heart of the city’s world renowned nightlife, Maroun El-Deek (aka TRIP.C) was immersed in a vast array of sounds at a young age. From French electronic to Arabic pop, the city’s rich cultural mix paved the way for his early love for music.
After moving to the Seattle area at the age of 12, he started to fall in love with other genres like hip hop. At 16, he began his journey in production by making beats for his friends and other local artists.
TRIP ended up behind the decks somewhat by chance near the end of his freshman year at Washington State University, and quickly realized his true calling. From frat basements to local Pullman clubs, he continued to add to his musical pallet and discovered his love for edm.
Now back in the Seattle area, he aims to continue expanding his arsenal and discovering his own unique sound as a dj and producer that combines pulsing tech house with all the other genres that ultimately defined his childhood.
