Wet Hand Dan
Origin: United States
Orange County native Dan Torres, better known to his fans as Wet Hand Dan, emerged onto the music scene in 2005. Although self-taught, Wet Hand Dan, tributes a bulk of his knowledge to carrying crates of records and shadowing other local DJs and musicians—before the days of Serato and Rekordbox. Trailblazing his way through local OC, San Diego, and LA hot spots Wet Hand Dan has become a household name not only for providing the funkiest beats but also creating the ultimate party environment where all are welcome. Having a versatile ear for music, Wet Hand Dan spins G-house, tech-house, future beats, and hip-hop. Along with manipulating the dance floor one record at a time it’s hard to miss when Wet Hand Dan steps up to the decks—dressed in Moroccan threads, a wide-brim hat, and rings on every other finger party goers can’t fail to notice him. Wet Hand Dan has provided support for acts such as Trippy Turtle, Duke Dumont, The GasLamp Killer, Z-trip, Troyboi, Wave Racer, Kill Frenzy, JOYRYDE, Redlight, Sirus Hood, Craze, and DJ Sneak.
