Insomniac’s Discovery Project was created to give a voice to emerging artists in the electronic music world. Aimed at cultivating the scene’s untapped talent, the platform strives to bring today’s fresh faces to light through performance competitions, and a unique artist collective.
Hand-selected by the Insomniac team and the guest judge SLANDER, EDC Las Vegas Discovery Project competition winners are given an opportunity to showcase their talent onstage at multiple Insomniac festivals across the country.
For the 2025 competition, Discovery Project is teaming up with ICON Collective, the premier Los Angeles-based music production school, to provide an extraordinary opportunity for emerging electronic music talent. Through a first-of-its-kind academic sponsorship, the EDC Las Vegas 2025 Discovery Project will award its winners a full-ride scholarship to ICON Collective’s prestigious Advanced Music Production Program, an 18-month, on-campus certificate program designed to develop the next generation of artists and industry leaders.
