FractaLL and Marotto Forge Classic House Energy With “Real House”

São Paulo’s FractaLL is bringing his absolute A-game with this upcoming one-two punch release for Bodhi Collective. The track in question here, “Real House,” could not have a more apt title.

FractaLL teams up with fellow Brazilian Marotto on this cut, in which they handle a classic soundscape with ease and skill. A bouncing beat fires straight away, aided by a legion of old-school house sounds and rhythms. Soulful vocal samples loop over a stripped-down track that is equal parts cold-as-ice warehouse thumper and smooth, soulful four-on-the-floor jam. They keep the track going strong and fiery, without ever letting things get out of hand.

It’s a superb effort that could get any old or new head out on the floor, while drifting off to another time and space altogether. The smooth classic sounds are just as effective as the beefy low-end. It’s definitely a win for both collaborators and the label that picked this one up.

“‘Real House’ is a track produced in a really playful way, bringing in elements of jackin’ house brewed with a dirty, old-school, beat-centered groove,” FractaLL tells Insomniac. “The vocal stabs, synths, and drums were imperative in helping us pull off the atmosphere we were wanting to achieve for that classic house edginess.”
