Free Download: Get Low to INDO’s Rework of “Express Yourself”

When Diplo chose to release the acapella for his 2012 New Orlean’s bounce blazer featuring the late Nicky Da Bee, the interwebz went crazy with remixes sprouting up in every possible style. Now that the heat has died down, Disovery Project alum INDO has chosen to inject the timeless joint with his own massive dose of funk.

He sets things ablaze right off the top with a heavy drum line funky enough to get the spirit of James Brown shuffling. Expertly layered over the top is a burning bassline, which slowly growls and grooves above the subs. This is the nu-funk sound at its finest and most nasty, so you shouldn’t think twice about putting the freebie in your pocket.
