Go on a Journey With Mija Through Her Live Set at EDC Las Vegas 2017

As an artist who doesn’t believe in being married to any one genre, Mija’s sets are always the stuff of a music polygamist’s fantasy. Making her EDC Las Vegas debut this year, the Los Angeles–based selector had her way with a shit-ton of styles (which is totally her M.O.) as the sun rolled in on Sunday morning at cosmicMEADOW.

“What’s up, EDC? My name is Mija. I’m gonna take you guys on a little journey, all right?” Mija said over the mic while Underworld’s “Born Slippy” greased the wheels for a veritable trip into the unexpected. All systems were go from there, as she casually switched gears from house to rock to drum & bass, and everything in between, without ever making you blurt out the words, “Are we there yet?” With Mija’s ability to navigate the most disparate of genres, you should know by now that her sets are always a trip worth taking. Her range is seriously unreal, and it made for one of the most unforgettable moments this past weekend, no doubt.
