Insomniac Records to Release New Sacha Robotti Joint “Plant the Seed”

Pasquale has been doing his Night Owl Radio listeners a solid by offering them the jump on all Insomniac Records releases. In last week’s episode, he rolled out the red carpet for one of booty house’s hottest tickets, Sacha Robotti, and gave the dude the floor by way of the show’s Up All Night segments. Robotti used the time to his advantage and offered up the premiere of his P.Keys-assisted joint, which could not get any fresher. Streaming the NOR show is the only way for you to hear the tune for the time being—that is, until it hits the market on Friday.

“My track ‘Plant the Seed,’ with vocals by P.Keys, was the first piece of music that I made in my new home in California, after moving there from Berlin about a year ago,” Robotti tells Insomniac. “It was produced on headphones, and the lyrics were recorded in my friend’s bedroom, as I didn’t have a studio at that time. P.Keys wrote the vocals on the fly, and we had fun turning this into a simple, dirty little jam with a low bassline, a weird siren melody, an ambiguous hook, and a big break. Looking forward to the release!”
