Jonas Rathsman Conjures Magnificent Deep Tech on “Glades of Glory”

Jonas Rathsman is the latest dancefloor talent to swiftly ascend from the fertile grounds of the Swedish scene. He recently launched his own ELEMENTS label and events brand, alongside a hot rush of releases over the years on labels like Diynamic, Mobilee, and Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels imprint. For his upcoming Glades of Glory EP, though, Rathsman is hopping over to Lazarus’ sister imprint, Rebellion.

As luck would have it, we’ve got our hands on the EP’s magnificent title track, and it’s a sterling effort, indeed. Infused with tribal percussion, exotic guitar work, and plenty of emotive drama to go around, “Glades of Glory” showcases Rathsman in his prime.

“I had just moved into my new studio after such a long journey getting it built,” Rathsman says of his new release. “This EP feels like a celebration of freedom and being able to create again. All three tracks came together so quickly, and I think that the excitement of having all of my studio tools back in front of me played a big part in that. I have been road-testing these for the last few months and have seen some great reactions that made it worth the wait.”
