LO’99 Handles “Bizness” With Brand-New Bass-Heavy House Heater
Australian producer LO’99 is smoking-hot and hyped to the max at the moment, preparing for a performance at EDC Las Vegas in May. He’s also fresh from being drafted for an official remix of the Fatboy Slim classic “Star 69” that got the nod of dancefloor approval from Claptone, Richie Ahmed, Roger Sanchez, and beyond.
LO is back now with an original production in the form “Bizness,” which has already proved an early smash on the Australian charts, and a secret weapon that has been kept as an ID up until this point.
“I’ve been playing ‘Bizness’ nearly every set as soon as it became playable, and it’s changed quite a lot since that first work-in-progress v1 bounce,” LO’99 tells Insomniac. “It’s always maintained the level of vibe, and it’s so much fun to play—goes down proper well every time. Whenever I spin it, include it in a mix, or post an IG video, people hit me up about it. So keen to be sharing this badboi out to everyone now. Hope you dig it as much as I do.”
From the opening drum breaks that warm up to the funky drop, it’s clear why the productions of LO’99 have been hitting the spot. With main-room appeal and accessible, fun grooves, the Australian producer loops a sexy vocal sample and proceeds to build a stomping slice of crowd-pleasing house around it. Tune in for a taste of what’s in store during his set in Vegas.
