Parker Ends 2017 With a Big Bang of Future Music in His Countdown NYE 2017 Mix

New Year’s Eve is a time of reflection, looking back at the last 12 months, before charging headlong into a fresh year loaded with possibilities and new beginnings.

It’s also a time to party your face off.

Parker has crafted an ideal soundtrack for the last night of 2017, blending his signature sound of bright, colorful melodies over massive, ground-shaking beats and free-falling drops, making for an emotional, soul-stirring musical journey.

“I made this mix with a lot of old-school with some new-school,” Paker revealed during a recent interview. “From past to present approaching the new year, I have tracks in there that will surprise many people. Hands-up to Jersey club to trap—it’s all in there!”

Parker is among the acts set to end the year December 30–31 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernadino, CA, for Insomiac’s double-shot NYE weekend blowout, Countdown NYE.

“My set will be very energetic,” Parker promised. “I love making them as original as possible, so I’m walking into it with a ton of IDs and also mashups that people will love.”

“It’s a dream come true,” he added about spending New Year’s Eve with Insomniac and everyone heading out to Countdown. “Ever since I started, one of my goals was to play a ton of shows with Insomniac. The fact that my first big festival with insomniac is Countdown… It has inspired me so much. I can’t wait to connect with my fans and everyone there. The atmosphere will be crazy.”

Looking back at 2017, it’s a year that Parker will always remember as “epic,” despite the stresses that came with pushing his career to new heights.

“I will never forget the faces at all my shows and every conversation I’ve had with them,” he said. “I am so blessed for 2017 and the people who worked hard to make anything possible.”

When asked about what he has on tap for 2018, Parker insisted that the plan is to continue making everything bigger and better by outworking the breakneck pace that marked this year.

“I hope to work with a ton of artists, play in different countries, and continue to grow as a producer and person,” he revealed. “I want to play so many shows, but also connect with all my fans at every new spot I play in. My fans mean so much to me. I hope to inspire them like they inspire me. I have so many new tracks for 2018. I can’t wait to show everyone. 2018 will be epic. The grind never stops <3.”
