Richie Blacker’s Acid Lick “Crayon Muncher” (4am Melodic Acid Mix)
“I’ve always looked up to Skream,” Richie Blacker tells Insomniac. “What I love most about everything he releases on Of Unsound Mind is that both he and I have similar musical tastes. He’s very open-minded when it comes to selecting tracks to release on his label.”
The London-based Of Unsound Mind boss must like what he hears from the emerging Irish producer, because he’s set to release Blacker’s second EP, Crayon Muncher, on the underground house label, which also includes past tracks from artists like Eli Brown, James Burton, and Waifs & Strays.
While his debut Poltergeist EP was dark, moody and melodic, Crayon Muncher is a solid four-tracker that delivers peak-time driving tech house.
The title cut also arrives with an alternate version, a melodic acid lick that’s sure to do the business on the after-hours dancefloor and beyond. Dive in now.
Available February 12 via Of Unsound Mind.
