Size Up Quantum With This Countdown 2016 Playlist

Trying to pick apart a festival lineup can be challenging if you don’t stay on top of the ever-changing dance music landscape. In case you’re having trouble categorizing the artists coming through to Countdown on NYE weekend, we’ve got you covered with our lineup by stage announcement. And because we care so much, we’re going one step further and rolling out a series of playlists breaking down all three stages.

The quality Quantum is bringing to the equation seems virtually impossible to measure. Each night is crammed from top to bottom, pulling from opposite ends of the dance music spectrum. On Friday, the focus stay sharply on four-on-the-floor selectors, as the vibes stay locked with sets from Lane 8, Billy Kenny, Louisahhh, Killy Frenzy, and more.

Saturday is in good hands, as well. The Bassrush crew will be rolling like they own the damn place—which is technically true, considering they’re playing host on the second night. Every base (or bass, if you will) is covered for the low-end-lover, as they bring out a wide range of acts to guide us into the New Year, including appearances from Ghastly, San Holo, Zomboy Virtual Riot, and beyond.
