Styline, Tommie Sunshine, and Wolsh Turn It Up Together on “Get Louder”
Collaborations are always a wild card. Whenever more than one artist decides to pool their brainpower and let the creativity run wild, it’s really anyone’s guess as to what the outcome will be. Luckily for us, the chemistry flowing between Styline, Tommie Sunshine, and Wolsh happens to crystallize in such a way that has resulted in one of the fiercest future-house tracks to surface this festival season.
“Get Louder” is showing up this week on Styline’s Power House imprint, the name of which is a key descriptor of the sound the German producer has been pumping out to the masses. His productions always pack a mean punch, but that vivaciousness is pushed to the 10th degree, with Sunshine and Wolsh bringing their own unique takes on house.
“‘Get Louder’ is something different from me—as it is for all of us,” Styline says. “We really mixed our styles in a special way to create a truly distinctive sound, and it definitely doesn’t hurt that the first drop still gives me goosebumps!”
The three-way fusion is a freak of nature. Kinetically charged basslines slice straight through clunky percussive hits and growling textures. They temporarily take the backseat for an electro-dipped breakdown that carries a vocal that couldn’t fit in any more confidence than it already has. Then, once the message about living life to the max is relayed, the beat swings back around for another run. It’s a serious dancefloor destroyer, and it will definitely be taking sound systems to the limit all summer long.
Available July 20 via the Power House.
