The Prototypes and TC Lock Horns on “Species” for Bassrush Records

It’s a pairing of epic proportions, as the Brighton-based duo known as the Prototypes lock horns with the Bristol-bred TC for Bassrush Records. In what is the first drum & bass release on the hard-hitting imprint, the crew drop in with the anabolic “Species,” designed to get the crowd hyped and ready to dive head-first into festival season.

Speaking of festivals, in case you haven’t heard, EDC Las Vegas is only a couple of weeks away, and one of the crews we’re most hyped to catch in the pit is the Prototypes going back-to-back with TC at bassPOD. Serving as a preview of the kind of heavy-metal thunder the trio will be raining on the masses that night, the Prototypes tell us to “strap on your muthafucking seatbelts,” as this tune is just a hint at what they’ve got in store for us.
