Aaron Jackson Debuts on Perfect Driver With Low-Slung Bit “Sorry”

As the buzz for Perfect Driver continues to shoot through the roof, the L.A.-based label is still finding new ways to widen its own reach. In comes Perfect Deeper, a quick-fire compilation allowing them to seek out sounds more readily heard during a poolside set or at an endurance-testing afterhours. They’ve hit their mark dead-on across all seven contributed cuts, especially so having invited Aaron Jackson in on the action.

“The track I did for Perfect Driver is something I really wanted to speak from my heart, as I had been going through some personal struggles,” Aaron tells Insomniac. “This is the tune that really helped me express that and overcome my hardship.”

His intention comes through the other end completely unscathed, providing the listener with the same release he set out to achieve for himself. Simmered down without losing his edge, the tune gets off to a deceptively gentle start before showing its true colors. Mildly aggressive bassline chomps and a low-riding rhythmic layout play nice together, and they are nothing to apologize about.
