Bruno Furlan Soaks “Da Da Da” in His Sticky Low-End Attitude
Since popping up a couple of years back, House of Hustle has become one of the most dependable plugs for urban-mobbing beats. The Mexico-based imprint has recently turned out much of its product from producers in Brazil, which has been a breeding ground for grooves that hit with hard-ass attitude. SION is the latest to get the HOH homie hookup, with the label picking up two of his hood-approved originals packaged as forthcoming two-tracker Want You.
Fellow native Bruno Furlan takes a swing at featured cut “Da Da Da,” hollering at the G-house tune in a way that has seen him rip through labels from the likes of Dirtybird, Sleazy G, Kling Klong and more. His remix is far from his first appearance on the label, and he makes it apparent by nailing the whole Hustle vibe. A low-slung rhythm is drenched in droplet-strung synths that trickle down on booty-friendly basslines.
“We’ve been following SION for years, and it was an amazing feeling for us when he sent demos in to House of Hustle and wanted to be a part of the HOH roster,” the label tells Insomniac. “He dropped us two pure bangers and wanted other great talent from the HOH fam to remix them, so we both decided to call out the Brazilian rising dirty boy Bruno Furlan, who embraces [the] SION sound perfectly with his badass and crazy style.”
