D-Unity Swings His Techno “Crobar” With New Release for What Came First
If you’ve heard of longstanding London hotspot EGG, then it’s more than likely you might also know about its associated What Came First record label. They have a new EP that drops next Friday: Crobar, from Canadian producer D-Unity. To warm you up, we’re premiering the EP’s lead single of the same name.
D-Unity has already released on massive stables ranging from Suara and Yoshitoshi over to Toolroom and Armada, and you can hear this range of influences coming together on “Crobar.” While it signals its heavy intentions from the outset with a thunderous techno kick, the arrival of a female vocal grabs early on and places this firmly in “party’ territory—the fun comes thick and fast from there.
Available September 27 via What Came First.
